The X5 40 xDrive starts at $72,100 MSRP, the X5 50e xDrive at $77,500 and the iX5 60 xDrive at $79,800. BMW has also announced a rear-wheel-drive X5 40 starting at $69,800. No. The new BMW X5 has two rows and seats up to five adults.
Is the 2027 BMW X5 all-wheel drive?
The X5 40 xDrive, X5 50e xDrive and iX5 60 xDrive have all-wheel drive. BMW has also announced a rear-wheel-drive X5 40.
What is the difference between the mild hybrid and plug-in hybrid X5?
The X5 40 xDrive combines a gas engine with 48V mild hybrid technology. The X5 50e xDrive is a plug-in hybrid with a gas engine and an electric drive system, offering up to 44 miles of electric range based on preliminary BMW estimates. Actual range varies; this is not presented as a final EPA rating.
Can the automatic doors also be opened manually?
Yes. The available automatic doors can also be opened manually. Automatic door operation is optional equipment.
